Rao Inderjit Singh addressed the inauguration of the completed Pond Restoration & Rejuvenation Project in Khentawas village in Farrukhnagar that has been undertaken by the GuruJal Society. The project was completed under the scheme of #supportAPond being undertaken as an initiative in alignment with honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s #JalShaktiAbhiyan a campaign for promoting treatment and reuse of waste water conservation and water security. A decentralized Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) of 150 KLD capacity which treats the incoming wastewater generated by the village, prior to redirecting into the pond. Plantation drive that has increased the biodiversity richness that has positively changed the microclimate of the environment. The area around the pond & WWTP has been landscaped to create community space around the pond.
